Winston - 7'6 2/2, 3 1/2oz (5wt) Bamboo Rod - Freestone Vintage Tackle

For sale here is a Brackett-era Winston 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod. Serial #1747, very good used condition except for one tip which is down ~0.5". The tip top was replaced and re-wrapped by Glenn. Featuring medium tempered cane with 3x3 nodes, transparent tan/gold windings with oxblood accents. Duronz ferrules are overwrapped, and the ferrules fit perfectly. 3oz scripted and actual weight. Strap & ring hook keeper, 6" cork grip (smooth and lightly ridged) and nickel silver cap & ring reel seat over cork spacer. A full working, medium action 5wt. A great option for small spring creeks, it feels like it would handle a 4wt also. Sold in the original bag and tube with beige Winston decal.
